TSCA

tsca.jpgThe Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) authorizes the EPA to secure information on all new and existing chemical substances, as well as to control any substances that are determined to cause unreasonable risk to public health or the environment.

According to the act, it is unlawful to manufacture a “new” chemical substance for a commercial purpose without complying with TSCA requirements.

All chemicals used at Nanophase are in full compliance with TSCA requirements.

Over the years, Nanophase has successfully registered new chemicals under TSCA regulations and is capable of working with customers to develop new products under an R&D exemption until a Premanufacture Notice Process (PMN) is necessary.
